The Walter Reed Medical Center was the US Army's flagship medical center from 1909 to 2011, located in Washington, D.C..

History

On 8 February 1957, in what was his first Assassin mission, Alekseï Gavrani accompanied General Boris Pash to the center, the latter interested in recovering an Apple of Eden in the possession of John von Neumann. Although the colonel did not give many details, Gavrani knew he needed privacy and so deemed it necessary to subdue the guards.[1]

After rendering the guards unconscious, Pash exited the chamber with an Apple of Eden in hand. Von Neumann had died, apparently by his years in Los Alamos. Gavrani left with Pash but felt uneasy, knowing that something wasn't right.[1]
