The Vista of Pylos

The Vista of Pylos was a rocky outcrop in the Bay of Hades in Messenia, Greece. It provided a good view of the surrounding area, especially of Pylos and the bay themselves to the south, and the Palace of Aphareus to the north.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1] The viewpoint was also where she rendezvoused with the Persian Darius while they were pursuing a clue concerning Dimokrates, a Magi of the Order of Dominion branch of the Order of the Ancients.[2]
