The Underwater Ruins of Dyspontion was the submerged site of a town founded by the perioikoi, non-citizen inhabitants of Sparta, located in the Forgotten Swamps of Elis, Greece.

Located by the mountainous route between the Sanctuary of Olympia and Elis City, the community was known for joining Pisa in a revolt against Elis in 570 BCE. As a consequence, the community was destroyed and abandoned.[1]

More than 100 years later the site was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.[1]
