Uplay is a service created by Ubisoft to provide an experience similar to the trophies/achievements offered by Sony and Microsoft respectively. This service is provided across all three platforms (PC, PS3 and X-Box 360) and is currently in beta stage. Two other Ubisoft games feature Uplay, Splinter Cell: Conviction and R.U.S.E

You can also use the Uplay service called "Assassin's Creed II - Web Battle" to view list of in game statistic and to get additional web-based achievements and rewards.
