Tyndareus was a king of Sparta in Greek mythology, and the alleged father of the twins Kastor and Polydeukes, born by his wife Leda.

The Amyklai Farm within the Forest of Eurotas in Lakonia was said to have been their home.[1]

Trivia

  • Tyndareus was also the foster father of Helen of Sparta.
