Troyes is a city in France. During the 11th century, the Order of the Knights Templar was formed in there and it became a Templar base.
In the early 16th century, the Assassin Giovanni Borgia, and his wife Maria Amiel visited Troyes, wherein Giovanni's objective was to kill a Templar only known as "the Viper." The target revealed his identity after he began a conversation with Maria, and was quickly assassinated by Giovanni.
