Art Merchants are merchants who sell various Paintings and Treasure Maps. Back then, it was still considered as a raw business, much like food merchants and Blacksmiths.
Paintings
Each Painting increases Monteriggioni's value, the higher the price, the higher the added value. Paintings sold by Art Merchants change depending on what region they are in. Once purchased, they can also be viewed at the Villa's art gallery for some background information on the painting itself.
Treasure Maps
Treasure Maps point the location of treasure chests located all over Italy. Treasure Maps sold, like Paintings, change depending on what location they are in. There are 4 regions: Florence, Tuscany, Romagna and Venice with a map for each district they cover. Also, there is another Treasure Map for Monteriggioni. Treasure Maps for each district are unlocked once you have visited the district at least once.
