The Theatre of Pompey was a theatre in ancient Rome built during the latter part of the Roman Republic. Built for the Roman general Pompey, it was the site of the Assassination of Julius Caesar in 44 BCE.
History
On 15 March 44 BCE, the Hidden Ones Aya, Brutus and Cassius, travelled to the theatre in an attempt to assassinate Julius Caesar. There, they discovered Caesar with Lucius Septimius across the arena. Aya tasked Brutus and Cassius to delay Caesar at the Senate before proceeding with the plan as she dealt with Septimius and his guards.[1]
