Arnolfo di Cambio (c. 1240 – 1300 or 1310) was an Italian architect and sculptor.

In 1294, Arnolfo designed the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore although work on the building would take decades.[1] In 1299, he began construction on the Palazzo della Signoria. Arnolfo incorporated the tower of the previous structure in the facade of the Palazzo.[2]
