Arno Dorian was a French-Austrian Assassin born in 1768. Blaming himself for the death of his adoptive father and seeking redemption,[1] he joined the Assassin Order in 1789 to expose the true powers behind the French Revolution.[2]
Equipment and skills
Arno was a witty, brash and charismatic Assassin, but he was also known to be stealthy and ruthless. He wore a dark blue hooded coat, waistcoat, and breeches with boots, rather than the stockings which were popular in his time. He used the Phantom Blade, a wrist-mounted crossbow, as well as a cutlass and a multi-barrelled pistol.[2]
Trivia
- In keeping with other names from the franchise, Arno is a German name meaning "eagle" or "leader", while Dorian is a Greek name meaning "gifted".
- Arno can also be translated as "eagle-wolf".
