The Canterbury Tales was a book written by Geoffrey Chaucer obtained by Ezio Auditore da Firenze in the 16th century in Constantinople.
Summary
A delightful collection of 14th century stories detailing the lives and concerns of a group of Christian pilgrims making their way to Canterbury Cathedral. Written in Middle English, Chaucer's colorful portraits are at times witty, tragic, bawdy, and beautiful.
