The Taranis Bracers were a pair of bracers inspired by Taranis, the Celtic god of thunder. Made from an unknown, high-quality material, it was said that they could channel lightning that was harmless to the wearer.
During the Viking expansion into England, the bracers were made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2020.[1]
