Sylvi was a young Norse girl whose parents ran a grain farm in Ravensthorpe during the 9th century. She was often playing with the other kids in the settlement, Eira and Knud.[1]
Trivia
- The name Sylvi is the Swedish and Norwegian variant of "Solveig", which is derived from the Old Norse elements sól meaning "sun" and veig "strength".
