Steven Masters started in the games industry as a tester with Simis Limited between November 1998 and May 1997 where he tested five products, such as ''Team Apache''. Later, when the company became a part of Kuju Entertainment. He moved on, tested five more games, was a designer on ''Halcyon Sun'', a level designer on ''Peacemaker: Protect, Search & Destroy'' and ''Ka-52 Team Alligator'', lead game designer on ''Fireblade'', and lead multiplayer designer on ''Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior'''. He is also credited with design on ''Terror Strike'', although he had already left the company before it was released. He was with Kuju between November 1998 and April 2005.
