The Sol-ok-Mani Vault was an abandoned elven treasury in northern Svaladal, Svartálfaheimr.
History
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Svartalfheim, the Æsir lord Havi traveled to the vault before Eysa could beat him there. Seeing that there were Muspel warriors here earlier, Havi solved the light puzzle and opened the right doorway. Inside, he noticed a stench of death and saw the corpses of Halstein and Sigrun on the ground. Investigating the vault, he concluded that the dwarven spies were prisoners and victims of a ritual to acquire an artifact from the wall. Havi soon saw a sigil and recalled the same mark at his time in Eitri. Instantly, he left and ventured to Eitri to find the dwarves' killer.[1]
While he was at the vault, Havi worked out the light puzzle again and opened the left doorway. Inside, he used his Hugr-Rip and activated the "Power of Muspelheim" to walk through the lava. After walking through the fire, he found a Book of Knowledge, read it, and learned the ability, "Explosive Retreat." To the right of the book, Havi also acquired a cosmetic scheme.[2]
