The Smoke Bomb is a weapon in Assassin's Creed II. Using a powder "technology" coming from the Far East, the bomb releases a smoke screen for 15 seconds when thrown to let Ezio flee his enemies or assassinate them quickly during those seconds. This item is disposable and must be purchased for 350 florins each. Players can carry a maximum of three smoke bombs at a time, which are stored in a non-upgradeable pouch. Since players will only be able to carry such a small amount and cannot increase it, it is most recommended to only use them if needed. In addition, the Smoke Bomb is a useful way to get the trophies/achievements "No-Hitter", "Messer Sandman" and "Sweeper".
