Siercke is a British professor with a doctorate degree. In 2020, she gave a lecture at the University of Cambridge on the dire effects the global aurora had on satellite communications and polar radiation levels after the 2012 mass coronal ejection, but pointed out that scientists were still unable to explain either what had caused it or why it remained eight years after the solar flare had passed.[1]
Behind the scenes
Siercke is a minor character in the 2020 video game Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Her doctoral field of study is unspecified, she appears only as a brief speaking role, and her voice actor is uncredited.
