Sichfrith mac Báirid (born c. 862) was the son of Bárid mac Ímair, the King of Dublin.

In 879, Sichfrith met Eivor Varinsdottir, his father's cousin, who had arrived in Dublin by invitation of his father.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Sichfrith mac Báirid is a character created for the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla expansion, Wrath of the Druids.

He is based on the historical Sichfrith mac Ímair, who is the son of Ímair and is the brother of Barith. Howewer, the expansion portrays Sichfrith as Báirid's son instead.^[2]
