Saint Lewinna's Church was an Anglo-Saxon church named after Lewinna in Guildford, Suthsexe.
History[edit | edit source]
In 875, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir met with Ubba Ragnarsson at Saint Lewinna's Church to discuss and later execute their attack on Guildford's grain silos for Fulke.[1] Throughout her travels, Eivor also circulated around the town of Guildford and inspected the church. Breaking through the church's tower, she found and opened a chest and recovered the Mentor's Robes.[2]
