Runa was a Norse farmer in England during the 9th century.

History

Runa together with her husband Viggo, daughter Sylvi and son Knud moved to Ravensthorpe to start a grain farm.[1]

The children were often up to mischief and once caught a dozen or so squirrels and let them loose inside the shipyard. A very angry Gudrun wrote a letter to Runa stating they should work together on disciplining them.[2]
