The Rough Staff was a staff bearing a blunt rounded tip, adorned with raised dots. Though simple and relatively plain, the weapon was still capable of inflicting grievous injuries.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Rough Staff, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including the Argolis Walking Staff. These are all the recycled model of the Cypriot Gabbro Head, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
