Regna (c. 857 – 873) was the daughter of the Norse woman Gyda who lived in Lunden during the 9th century. She was also unknowingly, a Sage of the Isu Aita.
Biography
In the 870s, Regna began working for a mysterious blacksmith named Oija, who was secretly allied with the nun and Order of the Ancients member Frideswid and supplied her with various tools used for her study of the human anatomy. On the pretense of sending Regna on an errand, Oija instead sent her to the forum where Frideswid was based in. Regna was thus killed and became one of Frideswid's experiments.[1]
Regna's disappearance worried Gyda, who sought out her friend and local reeve Erke to investigate. Erke thus sent his friend Eivor to investigate the Lunden bridge, where Regna was known to wander. Eivor eventually tracked down the clue to the forum, finding Regna's body after killing Frideswid.[1]
In Frideswid's autopsy notes, she mentioned Regna's heterochromia and how it was a connection to the precursor gods.[1]
