Ratatosk, also called Ratatoskr, was a squirrel in Norse mythology that carried slanderous gossip between the serpent Nidhoggr at the bottom of Yggdrasil and an eagle perched at the top.[1]
Mythology
Odin once won a flyting contest against them.[2]
Behind the scenes
The voice of Ratatosk was provided by Idun Mealor Olsen, who also voices Asta, Kaija, and the young Eivor Varinsdottir in Valhalla.[3]
