Raphael Sanchez was the treasurer of Queen Isabella I, and a member of the Spanish Assassin Order during the 15th Century. He strongly resisted Tomás de Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition, and was an ally of Christoffa Corombo and Luis de Santángel.[1]

When Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an Italian Assassin, came to Spain to find out about a Templar plot involving the Spanish Inquisition, he met with Raphael who helped Ezio come close to Tomas.[1]
