Raphael Sanchez was the treasurer of Queen Isabella I, and a member of the Spanish Assassin Order during the 15th Century. He strongly resisted Tomas Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition, and was an ally of Christoffa Corombo and Luis Santangel.[1]

When Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an Italian Assassin, came to Spain to find out about a Templar plot involving the Spanish Inquisition, he met with Raphael and the latter helped Ezio come close to Tomas.[1]
