Project Siren was a Templar plan to get more information out of subject 17, Desmond Miles.
History
As Abstergo planned the aquisition of a new Animus subject, Warren Vidic formulated a plan to gain more information from him. He and his assistant, Lucy Stillman, decided that Desmond would have to leave the Abstergo laboratory if the progress would not be fast enough. Lucy would then contact Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, two Assassins, and take Desmond to them.
They hoped that Desmond would feel more at ease amongst Assassins, allowing him to access the crucial memories more easily. Lucy was then to contact Desmond when they had located the Apple of Eden.
However the plan was thwarted by Juno who knew of Lucy´s true allegiance to the Templars and forced Desmond to kill her.
