The Politician's Helmet was a type of helmet often worn by politicians in Greece. Athenian politicians knew to use it during parades. The politicians also used a type of torso.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Athenian general Kleon gave one such helmet as a reward to the misthios Kassandra, after she helped him escort the Athenian captain Onomakles to safety, allowing him to make the trip to Mytilene his mission required.[1]
