In April 1752, Assassins Chevalier de la Vérendrye, Liam O'Brien and Shay Cormac met with Le Chasseur, a spy who worked with pirates, to discuss their plans involving the Precursor box and Manuscript. After defecting to the Templar Order, Shay returned to the fort and claimed it for the Royal Navy.
