Nokkfylla Shine-Eye was a sadistic Viking drengr who served in the Great Heathen Army under Ragnar Lodbrok during his legendary raids. After the death of Ragnar in 865, Nokkfylla wandered the English countryside for several decades. Without a purpose or cause to fight for,[1] Nokkfylla nade his new abode in an abandoned, collapsing fortress in the snowy reaches of north Eurviscire, and murdered at least a dozen individuals who had ventured too close.[2]
