Neufeld Homestead was a Frankish village build along the River Rhine in the central part of the region, southeast of the Fortified Ruins. It was protected by a few soldiers.
In the 9th century, it was raided multiple times by the Vikings Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, Vagn, and her longship crew.[1]
