The Narodnaya Volya (Russian: Народная Воля, English: People’s Will) were a Russian sect of the Assassin Order. Seen by contemporaries as a terrorist organization, the sect were responsible for a number of acts of sabotage and murder; their most well-known action was the assassination of Tsar Alexander II of Russia with a bomb, after five separate attempts on his life.
Notable members of the sect included Nikolai Orelov and Aleksandr Ulyanov.
