m While it may end up being taken away as speculation, Haytham taking Miko's other Hidden Blade after assassinating him is currently the only IU explanation for the Templar having two in gameplay.

Miko (unknown – 1754) was a member of the English Brotherhood of Assassins and the holder of the Grand Temple Key.

Miko first encountered the Templar Haytham Kenway in Corsica during 1753, while on assignment to guard the code-breaker Lucio. Haytham not only took Lucio from Miko, but also stole the Assassin's Hidden Blade, after Miko had caused Haytham's family-owned sword to fall into a crevasse by disarming him. However, Haytham spared Miko's life after their subsequent struggle, seeing no reason to kill him right then, but promised that on the next time they met, one of them would kill the other.

Keeping true to his word, while attending a performance of The Beggar's Opera in the Theatre Royal, Miko was assassinated by Haytham – with the Hidden Blade previously stolen from him – in order to retrieve the Grand Temple Key and his other Hidden Blade.
