Miko (unknown – 1754) was a member of the English Brotherhood of Assassins and the holder of the Grand Temple Key.
Miko first encountered the Templar Haytham Kenway in Corsica, while on assignment to guard a code-breaker. Haytham not only took the code-breaker from Miko, but also stole the Assassin's Hidden Blade, after Miko had caused Haytham's family-owned sword to fall into a crevasse through disarming him. However, Haytham spared Miko's life, seeing no reason to kill him, but promised that on the next time they met, one of them would kill the other.
Keeping true to his word, while attending a performance of The Beggar's Opera in the Theatre Royal, Miko was assassinated by Haytham in order to retrieve the Grand Temple Key.
Trivia
- Miko was the uncle of Duncan Little, who would later be recruited into the Assassin Order by Haytham's son, Ratonhnhaké:ton.
- As irony would have it, Miko's own Hidden Blade was used by Haytham to kill him, after it was stolen in 1753.
