Metal Shield

The Metal Shield was a simple shield forged from metal found in Egypt in the 1st century BCE.

By 48 BCE, the luster of the shield had faded, but it was still no less durable or effective, when it ended up in the hands of the Medjay Bayek of Siwa. Its design was especially suited to blocking blades rather than projectiles.
