―Maya's final remarks[src]-[m]

Maya was a Roman Hidden One Magister who lived in the province of Britannia during the 5th century.

Biography

Around 423 CE, after Vitus ordered the evacuation of Britannia, a sour Maya wrote a letter to Magister Sebastos at the Glevum bureau deeming the retreat to be premature and cowardly. Telling her friend that the Hidden Ones had protected the subjects of the Roman Empire for centuries from the abuses of their rulers, Maya was strongly opposed to what she viewed as madness and an abandonment of post at a time when the population of Britannia needed the Hidden Ones more than ever .[1]

Legacy

Five centuries later, Maya's letter to Sebastos was recovered by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir as she explored the Roman ruins of the Temple of Ceres bureau near Glowecestre.[1]
