Lork was a Viking warrior who fought under his leader Rollo in 9th century England.
Biography
Lork used to fight alongside Rollo's father until he passed and was later sworn to fight for Rollo. Although not too keen to follow Rollo, he chose not to dishonor himself when he left for Valhalla. Traveling to Essexe and fighting with Rollo, Lork followed his leader after they were asked by Ealdorman Birstan and his wife Estrid to "kidnap" her in order for her to escape a loveless marriage. However, the plan was unsuccessful as Estrid remained in Essexe. After Rollo left his company to drink and "have fun" in Colcestre, his camp was attacked by Saxon soldiers while Lork hid from the attack. He was eventually spotted, however, and tied up beside Gerhild while the rest of the company was captured and taken away.[1]
Upon Rollo's return with his new ally, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan, he saw most of his warriors gone while only Lork and Gerhild remained.
