While living in Svartálfaheimr, he saw his brother Mikke taken into Muspel custody at Feigardr during Surtr's invasion. Planning to save him, Linco planted a "mighty" hammer, changed into his dwarf form, and shouted out false lies to entice the Æsir lord Havi. Fortunately, Havi passed by and helped Linco to retrieve the hammer.
