The Limping Dog Tavern (French: Taverne du chien qui boite) was a tavern in southern Ventre de Paris, France.

History

In the late 1790s, the French Assassin Arno Dorian followed up on a lead after discovering a bag of human bones with a skull with a gold tooth on the shores in the district. One of the possible leads was a barman at the Limping Dog Tavern. Arriving at the tavern, he spoke to its bartender and determined the barman and the victim were not the same person. Thus, Arno left and headed to a local woman's home as his other lead.[1]
