Leicestershire (Old English: Ledecestrescire) is a landlocked county in the East Midlands of England. It borders Lincolnshire to the north-east and Northamptonshire to the south-east.[1] Its principal navigable river is the River Soar.
It is here were Eivor Varinsdottir, Sigurd Styrbjornsson and the Raven Clan arrived and founded the settlement of Ravensthorpe.
