The Kolossus (pl. Kolossi) was a seemingly inert guardian statue, many of which were found all over simulation of Elysium. They responded to bloodshed, and would attack those who entered open combat within their vicinity. These statues were distinguished from each other by their designation Dory and their serial number.
Another type of Kolossi was the Obsidian Kolossus. These were mostly used by the Isu Hades in Hades. Unlike normal Kolossi, these used a sword and shield instead of a spear. They were distinguished from each other by their designation Xiphos and their serial number.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found several of these statues during her travels through the simulation of Elysium and Tartaros.[2]
