Kiltober was a druid base at an abandoned Christian site, in southern Connacht, Ireland.
History[edit | edit source]
In the late 9th century, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to Kiltober, after recovering a clue about "The Ash." From her investigation, she infiltrated Kiltober as she saw it was guarded by the warriors of the Children of Danu. Within the druid base, she found and recovered the last clue about The Ash from inside a tent. The clue revealed The Ash to be a High Druid named Cummascach and his current location to be at the mines of Kesh Corann.[1] Throughout her travels in Connacht, Eivor also found and climbed to the viewpoint atop a cliff within Kiltober. She also found a chest within a locked building, opened the chest, and collected a tungsten ingot.[2]
