Kaleb was a young priest who lived in the Aksumite Kingdom's Church of Abuna Yemata in the 9th century CE. While at the church, Kaleb met and apprenticed under the falconer Nibris.[1]
Biography
After a snake cult led by General Endubis took over the church, Nibris escaped with one of their eagles while Kaleb stayed behind, hoping to free as many of the other eagles as he could. He took the hatchlings, but was caught by Endubis' men in the countryside, where they wounded him and strung him up, leaving him for dead. Just before he died, however, Kaleb was found by Nibris and his allies, the Hidden Ones Fuladh Al Haami and Roshan, managing to inform them what had happened before passing.[1]
