Kaija was a young Norse girl and a member of the Wolf Clan who lived during the late 9th century.
Aspiring to become a powerful raider like her jarl Kjotve, Kaija and her friends would often conduct roleplays to imitate the clan's rivalry and raids against the Raven Clan. In 872, Kaija and her friends met the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir in Hordafylke, who was on her way to Alrekstad to attend King Harald's althing. Eivor joined the kids in their raiding roleplay, unaware of their allegiance to the Wolf Clan. At the end of the session, Kaija revealed to Eivor of the raid that was meant to imitate the Raven Clan, and her admiration for her jarl Kjotve.[1]
Behind the scenes
The voice of Kaija was provided by Idun Mealor Olsen, who also voices Asta, Ratatosk, and the young Eivor in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.[2]
