"Jack the Ripper" is the title given to an unidentified, yet infamous serial killer who was active in the Whitechapel district of London in 1888, most notably characterized by his gruesome murders of young women; in this regard, his actions threatened the very existence of the Assassins in London.

A former Assassin and apprentice of Jacob Frye, Jack developed an extremist view on the Assassins' mission, recruiting followers among the Rooks and followed his new Creed of Terror.

Trivia

  • As displayed in promotional images, Jack the Ripper's face is hidden behind a mask crafted from what resembles a burlap sack. This is presumably due to his current-day anonymity, with extensive research into his identity still proving inconclusive.
