Isla Providencia is an island located in the West Indies. In 1718, Charles Vane and Edward Kenway were marooned on the island by Jack Rackham.

The two were eventually able to leave the island; Edward managed to capture a fishing schooner, while Vane was found and apprehended by British pirate hunters.
