Isla Providencia is an island located in the West Indies. In 1718, Charles Vane and Edward Kenway were marooned on the island by Jack Rackham.
While Edward was eventually rescued by a fishing sloop, a confrontation with Vane in the hours prior led to Edward killing Vane out of self-defense and leaving his body on the island.
