Iskender was the Mentor of the Egyptian Assassins during the Renaissance, and a descendant of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.

His Assassins located one of the Memory Seals in Alexandria, and with the help of the Ottoman Assassins, they were able to secure them before the Templars did.

However, in 1511, he was arrested and detained in Alexandria, and was put up for execution. Fortunately, once he was notified of Iksender's circumstances, Ezio Auditore sent some of his Assassin recruits to rescue him, from Constantinople, of which they were successful.
