Iskender was the Mentor of the Egyptian Assassins, and a descendant of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.

In 1511, he was arrested and detained in Alexandria, and to be put up for execution. He was rescued by Assassin apprentices from Constantinople, sent by Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
