Hygieia the Sword was a mercenary who operated in Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

Biography[edit | edit source]

"Hygieia's sword moved as easily as her shadow, and both were linked and unseperable. Neither one could be found alone. It is believed that she learned to make swords so that she would be the only one to touch them - and that in her eyes made it perfect. If anyone ever tried to steal it from her had suffered for it."[1]

During the war, a bounty was placed on Hygieia, and it was eventually collected by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
