Hercules in the garden of the Hesperides

Hercules, also known as Heracles, was the son of Zeus and the human woman Alcmene. Hercules was known for his immense strength and stamina and for the famous twelve labours given to him by King Eurystheus. One of these twelve labours involved stealing the Apples of Eden from the garden of the Hesperides.
